​Selecta Q45 hails from ​Corozal Town, a Northern District of Belize with a population of roughly 10,000​.​​ ​Growing up in a family of twelve that was largely into technology, sports, singing, dancing and music​. ​ Selecta Q45 found himself at a young age having an ear and talent for ​various​ music. ​The ​piano, harmonica, drums, bugle, recorder, mahogany stix, guitar, steel pans were​ major​ influences​​​. ​ ​Reggae, Dancehall, Ska, Calypso, Soca, Puntarock, Brukdung, Latin, Opera, Country, Swing, Pop, Disco, Jazz, R&​B​ and Rap​ ​molded his unique DJ style & sound. He currently resides in the D.M.V. (DC -Maryland - Virginia) & Austin Texas region.

Opening for Mykal Rose, Mr Perfect, Anthony B, Baby Cham, Mr Easy, Kabaka Pyramid, Iba Mahr, Marlon Asher, Warrior King, I-Wayne, Island Rose, J-Boog, Tribal Seeds, Supa G, Aziatic, and Stone Love, help garnished an impressive playlist and sound!
